The Nice program has finished and we have all returned to New York. I would say that our final projects all turned out to be pretty successful. Especially, given the amount of time and tools that we had to produce them.
My project built on two early clips I had created in the class. I used video footage from a graveyard in Tende as well as scenes from the Nice beach at twilight.

Nice had ANOTHER music festival this past weekend and it was great! this one was more about electronic music, although they did have some nasty beat boxing on hand. by far the best performance was by kid koala. and you could tell he was as into the show as the crowd was.
some of the other acts were very good like amon tobin and the german duo modeskeletor, the best vj-ing probably came vj’s working with these guys.
anyone who happens to be in nice next summer around this time should definitely check out this festival. and if your lucky maybe kid koala will come back.
